Urgent Care

I had a call from school that Kitty fell at the Monkey Bar. She is having a hard time moving her L arm.

I asked her how she fell. She said "the wind blew her off the monkey bar" so she fell. Since she was guarding her L arm when I picked her up at school, that usually is not a good sign, I

decided to take her to the urgent care. She did not want to move her L arm.
We saw the doctor. The doctor recommended to have X-ray done. Kitty was terrified with the X-ray. She was screaming and did not want X-ray done. Finally X-ray was done! Result showed no fracture but a dislocated elbow but the doctor did not see that during his exam. So dx: No fracture! No dislocation! Kitty is doing well!

Picture Tic Tac Toe Contest

As a kid Daddy subscribed to Games Magazine. (In fact, Gramma has all of them saved in her garage --- unless Uncle Tyler “pitched” them during his most recent Spring cleaning.) One of his favorite puzzles was the Picture Tic-Tac-Toe feature. A Picture Tic-Tac-Toe requires the reader to determine a common theme for each row, column, and diagonal of a 3x3 matrix of pictures.

Can you figure out the themes of all eight rows, columns, and diagonals? A special prize might be given to the person/team who solves the puzzle. There are good, better and best answers. Speed and quality of anwers will be the criteria for possible prizes.

Breakfast at the Hotel

Kitty woke up early and was hungry. Kitty and I went to get breakfast at the hotel restaurant while the boys were still asleep.


This was Kitty's face when she wanted t eat breakfast. "I want breakfast now!"

When we got back to the room, Kitty brought breakfast for the boys, too. Kitty ordered a cup of fruit for herself. Apparently, John wanted some fruit, as well. The only way that Kitty will share her yogurt was if John would share his chair with her.

A Valentine Get Away

It was 10 degrees when we got to South Lake Tahoe. Brrrr...cold. But that did not keep us from having fun on this Valentine Weekend.



Since we left Roseville at 7am, we kicked off our trip with the Chick Fillet breakfast. That's our usual place to eat when we go on early road trips. It's always good!
The kids were barely awake when we left.


Here are some photos that we took on our way to Tahoe. It was a gorgeous day! Sunny.













We stopped off for a few mins to play in the snow but it was too cold. I can't even hold my camera to take pictures.




We had lunch at the Orchids Authentic Thai Food. We were too hungry to take pictures of our food. They have a aquarium in the restaurant and the kids enjoyed looking at the fish.
