Video Game Time

It's nice to see John and Kitty playing Lego Batman together. We are not hearing as much frustration from John when Kitty is playing with him.

New Year's Eve Date

New Year's Eve while daddy was at work, we had a Mommy and kids time. We started off at Nordy's to get John a pair of shoes. Lola gave John money to get new Puma shoes.

This was taken at Nordstrom. Kids liked looking at the aquarium. There was no humuhumunukunukuapua in that aquarium.

After getting John's shoes we headed out to the mall playground where John and Kitty were running around. In the meantime, I was freezing. The kids had a blast at the playground.

This Christmas was really hectic that I have not send any Christmas Card to friends and family. So I was till hopeful to send one before Valentines Day. So I tried taking pictures with John and Kitty so I can use it for our card. This boy keeps following is when I take the pictures. I think he wanted to be part of our family. Maybe I should include him in our family photo.

Finally, he's out of the picture.

What's a day out without Happy Meal? Here we are enjoying our Happy Meal and Sundae.

Raisins

After my research, the closest raisin favor I can get for Aiai when I was at Selma, Ca is the raisin from Sunmaid Raisin Factory which we can just get at the grocery store. I did get a few treats to take to the kids.

Family Date Night

Yesterday we had a Family Date Night. We had dinner at Chicago Fire. Food was yummy yummy!
We had their Greek Fries. I would never expect to put garlic and feta cheese on the fries. The combination was really good. John and Kitty liked it. We also ordered baked artichoke hearts. Kitty likes artichokes. I don't know a lot of 4 year olds that like artichoke hearts. We also had their buffalo wings. Kids did not even try that. It was good as well. I like buffalo wings. Finally we had the cheese pizza for the kiddies and the Chicago Fire combo deep dish pizza. Deep dish pizza usually takes a long time to order so by the time we had our pizza we were full. We did try one slice. It was good.

Here's Kitty with her art work.

Here's John sipping his lemonade. We did a lot of tic tac toe while waiting for our food. He is really good. I lost almost all the rounds.

You would think that we skipped dessert after what we ate. Nope. We had their Cookie Pizza with Vanilla Ice Cream and whipped cream with cherry on top. Kitty grabbed the cherry so quick so I was not able to take a picture. We devoured that dessert like we had not eaten all day. Yum!

This is how dessert looked like. Photo taken from the website.

After dinner we went to watch movie. We watched Wreck It Ralph. This is a great movie. I see my self watching this over and over again.

Wreck it Ralph

Here's John enjoying the popcorn and the trailers that were shown before the movie starts.

It's hard to see, but here we are.

Based on the trailers we will be watching Smurfs 2 and Despicable Me 2.

Angry Birds and IPad

While waiting for Kitty to finish her gymnastics, 3 kids at the bleacher (including John) have their own iPad. All of them are playing angry birds. What would the world be without iPad and Angry Birds?

The Concierge Lounge

One of the advantages of traveling for work is that you collect enough points in your favorite hotel chain and gives you Platinum Status. Mine is the Marriott. Having been in a platinum status gives you access to the concierge lounge where you get free breakfast and free Hors d'oeuvres.

Our favorite Concierge Lounge so far is JW Marriott in San Francisco.

Thank you Marriott.

Selma Trip

This is the first trip for the new year. Selma Ca - the raisin capital of the world. It only took 4 hours of driving to get here. Thank you 2013 Toyota Corolla rental car. I was able to sync my iPhone to the car's built in bluetooth technology. I was able to listen to Pandora during my drive.
Work turned out well. We had a good turn out.
Now I need to find raisins for Aiai before I head home.
This is the view from my room.

Thank you technology!

When I got back from work, the housekeeper neatly arranged my toiletries. What a service!

They also did a turn down service. That's why I choose Marriott.

This was my dessert.

Another cold morning

Another chilly morning in Sacramento today. My windshield is icy again. I am getting used to this. I am liking the process of defrosting my windshield. This time I used the credit card to scrape off the ice. It was 30 degrees when I left.

Taken last night at Gramma's house. We were playing Spot It. All of them were good but me. Can't wait for tonight's playtime.

Cold

Ice on the wind shield when I left to go to work today. We were staying at gramma's house last night since the kids have no school.

Kids snug like a bug at Gramma's bed. I hope gramma has room to sleep. Nite nite kids.
