The KFL Spring Break

The KFL Family left yesterday for their spring break vacation.

Here we are in the car leaving from Granite Bay to Los Angeles.



Here are some of the scenic views from our drive in the I-5 Freeway.









While driving KFL Dad suggested to search for an app the records plate numbers that we find on the road.

So KFL Mom did the searching and found this app:

This is what we need for our 6 hour drive. After the app was loaded we started playing the game. In a short period of time we were able to locate several license plates from different states in the I-5 freeway. This is going to make our trip go by fast!

The pin drop displays the various locations we found the license plates.



It also displays the percentage of how many license plates we saw. KFL mom really is enjoying this app more so than the kids!



At the rock:
After 6 hour of driving we finally made it to eagle rock at midnight. Kitty had a 5 hour nap while we were driving while John had a 3 hour nap.

Car-racter

Last Friday we went to watch the Christian Brother High School to watch the Falcon Basketball team play. While driving on a rainy night at the I-80 freeway, John was looking for the speed limit signs along the freeway. He finally saw 65 mph sign. Knowing that our speedometer showed 65 mph, he asked why are the cars diving more than 65 mph. We told him that there is no police at freeway now so the cars were driving fast. He said to us that is not good a Character. He was right! Just because there are no police around, cars can drive fast! Then he called it Car-racter.

Here are we are at the basketball game. It was a very exciting game! CB won against Lincoln High School!

John's Liturgical Debut

We were so honored that John was chosen to be one of the petition readers in the Friday Mass at school. Please see the video link of how well he did. We are so proud of John! Good job John!

At the Park

January 2:

We went to the Elementary School to show off Kitty's monkey bar ability to Lola and Lolo. John was able to practice his basketball with Lolo.
