Every summer our company sponsors a summer event at SunSplash. This event usually happens every first week of August. All the employees were dismissed by 3:00 pm to prepare for the event. This would be our 4th year of enjoying this treat.
This year's SunSplash event was held on August 5. The weather that Monday was overcast, cold and drizzling. The rest of the company was praying for sun the next day so we can enjoy the summer event.
Well, the sun never came out. It was cold, over cast and rainy. It didn't prevent the family or the coworkers from going to the event. Kitty had been doing a countdown to SunSplash. And so we went. The last year we went the kids were not proficient in swimming. This time they were. The kids were saying that they can swim around the lazy river.
